Summer Swim Club

Independent Swimmers Aged 10 and up

Every Monday/Wednesday

11am-12 noon

3 Sessions (3 weeks each)

$20 per athlete per session*

Each class begins with instruction on swimming tips and techniques, followed  by hands on practice in the water. Drills will be used to practice what you learn. These drills will improve overall swimming abilities and skills including; breathing, body position, the fundamentals of all four competitive strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly). We will also cover starts, turns, and finishes. Whether you are a young swimmer just learning the basics or a seasoned athlete there will be something for everyone to build upon and improve their skill set. Come swim with us!

Class Dates:

Session 1: June 6,8,13,15,27,29

Session 2: July 6,11,13,18,20,25

Session 3: August 1,3,8,10,15,17

Class Emphasis: June

Day 1 – Freestyle, Body position, Streamline

Day 2 – Freestyle, Kick

Day 3 – Freestyle, Pull

Day 4 – Freestyle, Breathing

Day 5 – Freestyle, Starts, Finishes

Day 6 – Freestyle, Turns

Class Emphasis: July

Day 1 – Backstroke, Body position, Breathing

Day 2 – Backstroke, Kick

Day 3 – Backstroke, Pull

Day 4 – Backstroke, Turns, Finish

Day 5 – Breaststroke, Body position, Breathing

Day 6 – Breaststroke, Kick

Class Emphasis: August

Day 1 – Breaststroke, Pull

Day 2 – Breaststroke, Starts, Turns, Finish

Day 3 – Butterfly, Kick, Body Position

Day 4 – Butterfly, Pull 1-Arm

Day 5 – Butterfly, Pull 2-Arms

Day 6 – Butterfly, Starts, Turns, Finish

Class format:

• Video instruction
• Dry land demo
• In water demo
• Drill sets to practice specific instruction for that day

*Families with consecutive children will receive a $5 discount for each additional child.
