6:30 – 7:30 p.m.*
Class dates:
Week 1: 9th, 10th, 12th (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday)
Week 2: 16th,17th, 19th (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday)
Tournament Date: Monday November 23rd at 5:00 pm. This is a Dual against Rocky’s Pup Wrestling.
•Wrestlers need to come with sweats, shorts, t-shirt, wrestling shoes or clean sneakers.
Headgear and wrestling shoes are not mandatory but may be worn.
Our goal is to get kids excited about wrestling and to learn some basic skills and rules of the sport. On tournament day, we will pair students by similar weight, age and ability and let them wrestle and practice what they have learned. Rocky is hosting their pup wrestling as well so this tournament will be a dual with our two programs. We hope this will give the kids more variety in wrestling partners.
*For those interested in a longer wrestling season please consider USA Wrestling, which tentatively begins in the middle of December. USA Wrestling is not associated with the Lovell Recreation District however we support their program. Visit their Facebook page HERE
