Gymnastics

Boys and girls ages 4+

• Children need to be independently potty-trained.
• Children need to come to class with their hair up. If their hair is not up it may pose a safety issue when tumbling and they will be asked to sit out.

$30 per month

Program runs September 8, 2026 – April 28, 2027

No registrations will be accepted after Jan. 4, 2027

Dates to note:

*There will be no classes held the week of Thanksgiving. Last class week for November will be 11/18 and 11/19

**There will be no classes the entire month of December.

***Classes will resume in January, same day and time as you had been attending. These classes will begin 1/5 and 1/6.

**** There will be no classes held during the spring break dates ( 3/22-3/29). Classes will resume after the break on  3/30 and 3/31

*****Recital dates are being planned but will tentatively be held 4/21 and 4/22 OR 4/27 and 4/28 during regular class times.  This will be communicated to you as soon as confirmed.

Classes are held once a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, OR Thursday afternoons.
Each class is 45 minutes long with a 5 minute transition between classes.
Day of week and class time are dependent on class placement. Possible class times: 3:30 pm, 4:20 pm, 5:10 pm. These times are listed here as a reference only, class times cannot be chosen and will be assigned. Class placement will be determined by instructors based on child’s ability level. Assigned class days and times per child will be distributed to parents by September 2nd.

You do not have to re-register each month.

Doors will be opened 5 minutes before the class begins.
Doors will be closed 5 minutes after class begins.
There can be NO EARLY DROP OFFS.
PLEASE! DROP OFF & PICK UP YOUR STUDENT PROMPTLY.
There can be no spectators or persons waiting in the Armory building unless there are special circumstances and been approved by the Lovell Rec Director. 
PLEASE, follow these guidelines and restrictions as a COURTESY to each other.

$30 per month per participant.  Payment must be received before or on the first class of each month. The Lovell Recreation District will not be reminding parents when payment is due. Payments can be made via Credit Card (online during registration or through ‘make a payment’ option), Venmo @Lovell-Rec-Dist, PayPal @lovellrec, cash, or check. Cash and checks can be mailed to PO Box 596, Lovell, WY 82431 or brought by the office located at 600 Shoshone Ave. There is a lock box next to the door for payments that need to be dropped off outside our business hours By registering you are signing up for the full 7 month program. If your child is not able to participate in all 7 months please contact an instructor or the Lovell Recreation District director (307-254-7461). Unless otherwise stated, once registered your child is expected to participate in each class each month. Missed classes must be communicated to an instructor or the director prior to class. Please inform an instructor or the director as soon as possible if your child chooses to drop from gymnastics. Monthly payments will not be discounted for missed classes. Payment for all 7 months is expected unless cancellation is communicated to an instructor or the director prior to the start of the next month.  

If your child wants/needs to ‘skip’ a month (or more) but would like to reserve their spot in a class please contact an instructor or the Lovell Recreation District director. Payment is required to reserve spots in a class. If your child drops from a class and you opt not to pay to reserve their spot we will fill their spot with someone from the waiting list, if applicable.

Waiting list:  A waitlist will begin once the spots in each class have been filled. When a spot in a class becomes open we will contact the waiting list in order of submitted registrations.

Gymnastic Recitals:  At the end of April, dates to be determined, but looks like they will be 20 and 21st or 27th and 28th. during regular class times. Recitals are an opportunity for your child to show off what they have learned in gymnastics all year. We open classes up to all parents, relatives, and friends. We highly encourage each child to participate during recitals. Parents are encouraged to take photos of their students during recitals as there won’t be any scheduled photographer.

Street shoes are not permitted on gymnast mats or equipment.
