We’re excited to kick off another season of Evolution Dance!

Join us for our Meet Your Teacher & Shoe Try-On Night!

    📅 Wednesday, September 2nd
    ⏰ 5:30–7:30 PM
    📍 Lovell Armory Building

This is a great opportunity for dancers and parents to meet their teacher, get familiar with the space, and try on dance shoes so we can make sure everyone has the correct size as soon as possible.

    👟 USED SHOE BUY-BACK:
Have black dance shoes your dancer has outgrown? Bring them in! We will accept black, gently used dance shoes through September 10th and give you $10 per accepted pair. If you bring them to Shoe Try-On Night, you’ll receive your $10 right then!

Please note that we will not be accepting boys’ Hip Hop sneakers for buy-back.

    🩰 SHOP OUR USED SHOES:
We will also have our collection of used dance shoes available until September 10th to look through and also during Shoe Try-On Night. If you would prefer a used pair instead of purchasing brand-new shoes, you are welcome to see if we have your dancer’s size! Used shoes are limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis.

You can stop by anytime between 5:30–7:30 PM—you do not need to stay the entire time. If you are unable to attend this night your child will be fitted for shoes the first class.

👟 Dance Shoes – Donate, Save, and Share!

Shoes are an added cost to parents.  All classes will use jazz shoes that will be ordered through the Lovell Rec office based on your try on size.  Jazz shoes cost $22

We’re excited to introduce our updated Dance Shoe Program, designed to help families save money while supporting fellow dancers in our community.

***This is all based on what is available, there is no guarantee your size will be available in the used shoes.

Our hope is that, over time, we’ll build a strong inventory of donated shoes—so that very few families will need to purchase new ones. Thank you for helping us create a supportive, sustainable, and budget-friendly dance community!

Registrations will close August 31st.

** There will be no spring registrations.

🚗 Drop-Off & Pick-Up Reminder 🚗

  • No Early Drop-Offs: Students may not be dropped off before their scheduled class time. Our staff may be teaching or preparing for other classes and will not be available to supervise early arrivals.

  • Prompt Pick-Up Required: We ask that all students be picked up immediately after their class ends. Our schedule is tightly packed, with classes running before and after your child’s class. Lingering between sessions can disrupt the flow of classes and the focus of our teachers and dancers.

  • Supervision Limitations: Our instructors are responsible for teaching and cannot supervise children who are waiting for their ride. For the safety of your child, please make every effort to be on time.

📅 Payment & Attendance Policy Reminder

Payment for dance classes must be received on or before the first class of each month. Please note that the Lovell Recreation District will not be sending reminders regarding payment due dates.

Accepted Payment Methods:

  • Credit Card: Available online at registration or through the “Make a Payment” option under the Activities tab on our website.

  • Venmo: @Lovell-Rec-Dist

Unless other arrangements are made, your child is expected to attend every scheduled class each month. If your child must miss a class, please notify an instructor or the director ahead of time. Should your child decide to withdraw from the program, we ask that you communicate this promptly to ensure accurate records and planning.

Please note: Monthly payments will not be adjusted for missed classes.

Dance Recitals:  There will be a Christmas Recital on December 10  and a Spring Recital in May with a date to be announced.. Recitals are an opportunity for your child to show off what they have learned in dance during the semester. Dance Recitals will be held at the Hyart Theatre.  There will be dress rehearsals leading up to the recital and typically are the day or two before the recital date. These specific dates will be communicated at the beginning of the program once we have secured the dates with the Hyart Theater.
