Q: When is the swimming pool available for rent?
A: The pool can be rented on any day or time that does not conflict with a prescheduled activity or regular office hours.
Q: How do I know if my rental request has been accepted?
A: Once your rental request has been submitted, the Lovell Recreation District will schedule the necessary lifeguards to cover the shift. Once scheduled, the Recreation office will contact you via the telephone/email provided and let you know your request has been approved. If we are unable to find lifeguards to cover the requested day and time we will contact you to arrange another day/time, if desired.
Q: What if I don’t know exactly how many people will be swimming?
A: We ask how many people will be swimming to determine how many lifeguards are needed to cover the rental. One lifeguard can cover up to 20 swimmers, two up to 40, etc. If your participant count ends up being above the 20 person increment listed on the rental form please reach out to the Lovell Recreation District. We will be happy to find another lifeguard to help.
Q: What if I pay ahead of time and the rental is denied?
A: It is unlikely we will be unable to find lifeguard coverage for a desired rental time, however this does happen. In this situation we will contact you to arrange your preferred refund method.
Q: How far in advance can I rent the Lovell Municipal Pool?
A: You may request a pool rental as far as one year ahead of the desired date, however we may not be able to confirm lifeguard scheduling until a month prior. We do ask that you submit requests a minimum of one week prior to the event to allow sufficient time to schedule a lifeguard and arrange chemical balancing.
